Quick Mortgage Calculator is a free mortgage calculator and rate-tracking site owned and operated by Pockadot LLC, a U.S. company. It exists to answer two questions precisely and without friction: what a home loan really costs each month, and where mortgage rates stand right now.

What the site does

• A mortgage calculator with PMI, property taxes, insurance, HOA fees, and full amortization schedules. Free, no signup, and your inputs stay in your own browser.
• Mortgage rate history from 1971 to today, refreshed every week from Freddie Mac survey data, with a dated update published each Thursday.
• State calculators for all 50 states, pre-filled with local median prices and property tax rates.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure traces to a public primary source: Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey via the FRED API for rates, the Zillow Home Value Index for state home values, and state revenue departments for tax rates. The Data & Methodology page documents the sources, update cadence, formulas, and corrections policy in full.

How the site is funded

The site shows clearly-labeled lender offers from an advertising partner on some pages. Advertising never influences the rates, history, or calculations we publish, and the calculator works identically whether or not you ever interact with an offer.
