Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pockadot LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit and use the Quick Mortgage Calculator website and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you use the calculator, you enter values such as home price, down payment, interest rate, and loan term. We may collect and record these values and other information you choose to submit through the Service.
Mortgage rate updates. If you request our weekly mortgage rate update, we collect your email address, the page where you signed up, and timestamps showing when you requested and confirmed the subscription. We use this information only to provide and operate the updates you requested. We do not collect a phone number for this feature.
Information collected automatically. When you access the Service, our servers and tools may automatically collect log and device information, including your IP address, the approximate geographic location derived from it (such as country, region, and city), browser type and version, operating system and device information, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, the dates and times of your visits, and similar usage and diagnostic data.
Cookies, identifiers, and analytics. We and our service providers use cookies, similar technologies, persistent device or visitor identifiers, and standard web-analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to operate the Service, remember preferences, measure usage, distinguish visits, and understand trends. You can control cookies and clear stored identifiers through your browser settings, though some features may not function as intended if you do so.
Session activity and replay. We use Microsoft Clarity, which may record your session on the Service, including the pages you view, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and aggregate that activity into heatmaps. We use this to find where the Service is confusing or broken. To opt out, see Microsoft's privacy statement; Clarity also honors your browser's Global Privacy Control signal where supported.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to provide and personalize features; to understand how the Service is used and to analyze mortgage-market and usage trends; for research, analytics, and product development; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues; to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and for other lawful business purposes.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers and vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, content delivery, security, and analytics. We may also disclose information when we believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pockadot LLC, our users, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We do not sell personal information that identifies you.
We use an email delivery provider acting on our behalf to send requested mortgage rate updates and process delivery failures and spam complaints. Our own systems remain the system of record for subscription and consent status.
4. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify you or any individual. This information is not subject to this Privacy Policy, and we may use and disclose it for any business purpose.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to support our legitimate business interests, and to comply with our legal obligations. A pending rate-update signup expires after 48 hours if it is not confirmed. We retain confirmed subscription information until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe or an address is suppressed, we retain the address and status as needed to honor that choice and prevent additional email. Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Session recordings are retained on our analytics provider's standard schedule, currently 30 days.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Advertising, Offers, and Third-Party Content
Some pages of the Service display offers from advertising partners, such as lender comparison units, delivered through content embedded from those partners. When an embedded unit loads or you interact with it, the partner collects information directly through its own technology, which may include your IP address, general location, and how you view or interact with the unit. That collection is governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. If you choose to submit information through a partner's offer, such as a form requesting quotes, that information goes directly to the partner and the providers it works with, under their policies. We receive compensation when visitors engage with partner offers, and offer placements on the Service are labeled with an advertiser disclosure.
The Service may also contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable law. To make a request or ask a question about your information, please contact us using the details in the Contact Us section.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated Policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
11. Data Controller and Contact
Pockadot LLC is the data controller and owner of this website. If you have questions or concerns about this Policy or our data practices, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section.
